How to make flashdrive bootable for all Operating System

How to make Pendrive Bootable :

Friends sometime we get some problem and we need to make our flash drive bootable. There are some reasons to use flash/pendrive for installing Operating System.

a) First of all, the overall speed of the installation process will increase significantly.
b) Carrying a USB stick is much more convenient than a DVD.
c) It becomes possible to install the OS even on those systems that do not have a DVD drive, like netbook.

This post will illustrate the methods of making bootable flash drive.
1. Create Bootable Pen Drive for windows 7 using Tool
2. Create Bootable Pen Drive for windows 7 using windows DiskPart utitlity.
3. Create Bootable Pen Drive for linux system using Unetbootin.

1. Create Bootable Pen Drive for windows 7 using Tool:
Requirement:
a) ISO image of windows 7
b) Winsows 7 USB/DVD Tool ( You can download from here )
c) USB flash drive with a minimum capacity of 4 GB.

Step 1: Click Click the Windows START button, and click WINDOWS 7 USB/DVD DOWNLOAD TOOL in the ALL PROGRAMS list to open the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.
Step 2: In the SOURCE FILE box, type the name and path of your Windows 7 ISO file, or click BROWSE and select the file from the OPEN dialog box. Click NEXT.
Step 3: Select USB DEVICE to create a copy on a USB flash drive or select DVD disk to create a copy on a DVD disk.
Step 4: If you are copying the file to a USB flash drive, select your USB device in the drop-down list and click BEGIN COPYING. If you are copying the file up to a DVD, click BEGIN BURNING.

2. Create Bootable Pen Drive for Windows 7 using Windows Diskpart Utility:
Requirement:
a) ISO image of Windows 7
b) USB flash drive with a minimum capacity of 4 GB.

Making Bootable USB without any third party tool

3. Create Bootable Pen Drive for linux system using Unetbootin:
Requirement:
a) ISO image of linux/backtrack/Ubuntu operating system
b) Unetbootin tool (You can download it from here)
c) A USB flash drive.
Step 1: Run the unetbootin tool. It will look like this :

Step 2: Select an ISO file then select a target drive (USB Drive or Hard Disk) and click on ok button.

Reboot When its done ..!!
